Canstruction Competition Participated by Jordan & Skala Engineers for Atlanta Food Banks

Jordan & Skala and Wakefield Beasley & Associates worked together to ‘canstruct’ a giant toilet to “flush out hunger.” In only three hours, 2,306 cans of Vienna Sausages were carefully stacked together to create the giant toilet. In total, 3,238 cans were collected, which will all be distributed to food banks throughout the city of Atlanta. Other firms that participated in the CANstruction competition were HKS, Cooper Carry, Niles Bolton, Macgregor Associates and Pond & Company.

Austin Youth Housing Designed by CMH Architects and Jordan & Skala Engineers

Dallas-based design firm, Craycroft McElroy Hendryx (CMH), and Jordan & Skala Engineers have partnered to take on an Austin youth housing community-service project of designing a 45-unit housing project on the LifeWorks campus in Austin, Texas, for youth who are aging out of foster care and looking to enter college and the workforce.
