Jordan & Skala’s Sustainability Services team performs energy models in order to assist with compliance of various local and national energy codes, green building programs (such as NGBS, LEED, IECC, ASHRAE 90.1, Title 24, FlaCom, and Flares), as well as financial incentive programs (HUD 221D4 Green MIP Reduction). Additionally, energy modeling can provide your projected annual energy consumption for generating SEDI scores.

HERS & ERI Ratings

Jordan & Skala’s Sustainability team is able to provide HERS (Home Energy Rating System) and ERI (Energy Rating Index) ratings, a methodology for providing an assessment of a dwelling unit’s energy efficiency for new or existing residential buildings, when required for code compliance or green building programs. This process includes performing an energy model, as well as the data collection of dimensions, insulation values, performance testing, etc., from the actual unit.
