This new 200,000-SF church Inspiring Body of Christ incorporates the latest technology in energy efficiency. The project was design-build with City Wide Mechanical offering mechanical HVAC and plumbing design services. The Inspiring Body of Christ has a 4,400 stadium seating sanctuary that includes a 70,000-gallon salt water aquarium. The project included a full service commercial cooking kitchen, school classrooms, administration and other public spaces. The design incorporated the use of a four-pipe HVAC system (two-pipe chilled water and two-pipe hot water). Heating and cooling systems are zoned to provide everyday service to the offices and classrooms independent of the necessary systems for the sanctuary using variable volume air handlers and associated fan-powered/vav boxes.
