Recently, Jordan & Skala donated MEP design services for Brookwood in Georgetown’s (BiG) new community center building located in Georgetown, Texas. The Brookwood Community is an educational, residential, and entrepreneurial community for adults with functional disabilities. Jordan & Skala Engineers is proud to announce that Novare Group’s SkyHouse Austin achieved ENERGY STAR certification on February 4th, 2015. Jordan & Skala provided MEP and Energy Services engineering design for the 23-story, luxury, mixed-use development. Jordan & Skala Engineers is currently providing MEP, Communications, and Security engineering design for the new Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. On October 29th, Jordan & Skala Engineers proudly accepted the 2014 EarthCraft Communities Project of the Year Award at the Celebration of Excellence. The $28.3M redevelopment of the former Allen Wilson Terrace Public Housing project in Decatur, Georgia was selected for its quality, innovative design, and showcase of sustainability. Studio Movie Grill to Open Two Theaters in Dallas

Studio Movie Grill is opening two theaters in Dallas-Fort Worth as part of a larger expansion plan, which includes new locations in Chatham, Ill., and Tyler, Texas, with more sites in the works. The new theaters will be located in Colleyville and The Colony. The Colleyville location will be 51,035 square feet with eight screens and more than 1,000 seats.
