Sam Weaver joined Jordan & Skala Engineers in 2015 as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and now serves as a Senior Associate. Sam is the Mechanical Discipline Leader for the Mid-Atlantic office and oversees all aspects of mechanical design. All projects issued by the Mid-Atlantic office must pass our quality assurance process under Sam’s careful review.

Licensed in five states, Sam is motivated by the opportunity to design a fully functioning design solution from start to finish. With over 18 years of experience, he has managed and designed a wide range of projects including commercial office buildings, hotels, law firms, upscale retail spaces, multi-family complexes, churches, country clubs, schools, warehouse, and historic renovation projects. Sam is familiar with numerous sustainability programs including LEED BD+C, LEED for Homes, EarthCraft, Energy Star, and NGBS; he has designed many projects that have achieved Gold certification under their respective sustainability programs. An energy-minded mechanical engineer, Sam realizes that quality designs must fit within the client’s budget and schedule. Sam collaborates with the entire design team to devise the most energy efficient solutions for his projects and clients. As a project manager, Sam works with the design team and ownership to ensure that the project moves smoothly towards completion.
