Andrew Smith is Vice President and a Principal at Jordan & Skala Engineers. Andy joined our Atlanta headquarters in 1995 and has since led the HVAC department in Charlotte, pioneered the Dallas office, and oversaw the establishment of the Denver, Houston, and Las Vegas offices. Currently, he oversees nearly 130 employees within our west coast offices. His extensive experience has allowed him to design and manage projects of all types. In 2003, Andy became our firm’s first LEED Accredited Professional. Soon after that, he became instrumental in the establishment of our Sustainability Services discipline, which provides sustainability consulting, program coordination, and education services for developers, architects, contractors, management companies, financial banking, and other MEP engineering firms. Then in 2020, he became the firm’s first Fitwel Ambassador to further our sustainability initiatives. A graduate from the University of Alabama, Andy is a Registered Professional Engineer in all 50 states, LEED Accredited Professional, and a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
