Jordan & Skala Engineers believes in giving back to the communities in which we work. Be it through donated professional services, charitable donations, or volunteering, we aim to be a beacon of humanitarianism, public-spiritedness, and social conscience.
Each of our offices are empowered to engage in their communities on a local level. We feel that social responsibility is integral to everything we do and that starts in our own neighborhoods. We have focused our efforts in three key areas: Education and Empowerment, Food and Basic Needs, and Health and Wellness.
Jordan & Skala Helps Grant a Wish
As a part of Jordan & Skala Engineers’ commitment to empower and engage the community, this year we partnered with Make-A-Wish® Georgia. Jordan & Skala Engineers collaborated with Hoar Construction and JQ Engineering to cook and serve lunches for guests staying at the Austin Ronald McDonald House. Green Build 2014 Hackathon
Jordan & Skala’s Energy Services team participated in a “Hackathon” at the Green build 2014. What is a Hackathon you ask, well it’s a one-day event to overhaul the green building workforce, accelerate access to affordable green buildings, and have a good time! The JSE team also donated their time volunteering for a community build on the CSED Kickstarter Building which is anticipated to achieve LEED Platinum Certification.
