Jordan & Skala Engineers, Inc. celebrates the promotion of 14 individuals, highlighting a significant milestone in our firm’s evolution.

These changes are marked by the establishment of the Associate Principal role and pivotal transformations within our organization over the past few years. Notable mentions include the opening of our Tampa, Florida office, the expansion of our disciplinary teams, and the retirement of JSE titans Don Sheffield, PE, and Jim Haefeli, PE. This strategic growth aligns with our vision to be the recognized standard of engineering excellence. We aim to fortify valuable knowledge, design expertise, and industry relationships within our leadership group, propelling our firm to new heights.

In this expansion of leadership, our Mechanical Discipline gains the guidance of six accomplished individuals. The new members include Corey Hewitt and Heath Parnell, Team Leaders from JSE Dallas; David Levesque, our HVAC Regional Director; Sam Weaver, HVAC Discipline Director for the Mid-Atlantic Region; Paul Contorno, Multi-family Team Leader from Houston; and Kurt Heinemann, our latest Office Leader in Tampa. These seasoned professionals bring extensive mechanical engineering expertise, ensuring that our department continues to set industry standards.

Our Electrical Discipline leadership, renowned for its rigor, welcomes five members with decades of dedication to both Jordan & Skala and their craft. Darren Rogge, Jeff Davison, and John Ault, three Atlanta Team Leaders; Tung Nguyen, a newly appointed Team Leader from Atlanta; and Josh Wiley, Electrical Discipline Leader from Dallas, are certain to continue providing impactful insight and management to this discipline, ensuring our success in the years ahead.

Our Plumbing Discipline will welcome Jim Allen, Plumbing Discipline Director, and Jessica Diaz, Regional Plumbing Director. With over 20 years of experience each, Jim and Jessica serve as rich sources of knowledge, and our firm looks forward to thriving under their leadership.

Finally, in response to the evolving industry focus on healthier buildings, our Sustainability Department, after years of tremendous growth, welcomes James Brauer, our Senior Manager of Sustainability, as a new Associate Principal.

We are invigorated by the fresh perspectives, wisdom, and direction these 14 individuals bring to their new roles. Our heartfelt thanks go out to them for their dedicated service to date, and we eagerly anticipate a bright future with them at the helm of Jordan & Skala Engineers.
